The Idea That Started It All

Ramanam didn’t begin in a boardroom.
It began with a simple question:

“Why can’t South Indian food feel like home, no matter which city you’re in?”

Our Founder, Nakul Dhokia grew up around steaming idlis, perfectly crisp dosas, and conversations that lasted longer than meals. Food was never just food — it was comfort, culture, and connection.

As life moved faster and cities grew louder, one thing stayed constant:
the craving for honest, uncomplicated South Indian flavours.

That craving became a vision —
to build a place where tradition feels relevant, quality never negotiates, and every plate tells a story.

Ramanam was born to serve food the way it’s meant to be served:
